Recently I've started thinking more about what I eat as part of my 'new life'. I want to have more energy, feel fresh and my body to be healthy as a whole. About 3 weeks ago I started hitting the greens like cabbage, sprouts, kale, etc... I then got involved with oatmeal and mixed fresh berries for breakfast every morn.
I have been mixing it all up with smoothies I've made, but true benefits are found in a balanced diet, not merely fad shakes between the food you think you can get away with.
Since then I've got a taste for it all, and have found a very interesting webpage which breaks down the benefits of the different types of foods available to us. From here I intend to find recipes that utilitize a lot of the the ingredients noted as I experiment in improving how my body functions
