well, I've now been on the Manhood Academy for two weeks. (I was admitted as 'scholarship' student, which means I'm not paying the 10/month fee to help keep the server running, and they just want to see me improve.) That forum is great, and it's so much ore than just a forum...

I HIGHLY suggest this place to anyone who doesn't feel satisfied with pickup. Go read the free pdf here. It's better thought out than anything I've read elsewhere, and it's not written like a product like most PUA stuff is, which never fully satisfies you or teaches you completely.

I will say it's really tough to get through the first half or so of the PDF, because it goes against everything every guy has been indoctrinated with for the last half century. It's going back to a pre-1940's era, and the only way to get there is to bust your ass into 100 different pieces, break all your bad habits and re-train you. It's not easy, but I think anyone who is here could make it through fine. Just gotta reprogram...

For me, pickup, dating tips and the like now looks like band-aid solutions for symptom problems... easy fixes that don't actually work, unless the situation is right, moon & star alignment correct, and girl the right 'fit' for a trick to work. This goes straight to what interactions/society are, rather than pussyfooting around.


But: here's the better stuff about the place.


1. Classrooms. There are multiple times a week classroom settings through google+ where the professor goes over reports and whips you into shape (more on that later). Also goes over student topics, and brings new content to the table. These are recorded and made into podcasts, all of which are available at the forum.

2. Student Meetups. All students must communicate with each other regularly through the chat and google+ hangouts. There's no trying to mooch off the forum, or 'just trying to get by'. No matter where you are, they're going to make you improve socially, or you're going to get kicked off. End of story.

3. 'EM' Reports. Similar to pickup reports, but way better. Not sure how to describe them without you reading the PDF, but instead of being reactive to situations, they teach through repetition and reinforcement for you to manage your expectations, and how to influence the environment.

4. Students all over. This may not be as big of a draw to you guys since this is a uk-based place, but for me finding someone locally to me (8 miles away!) who's going through the same program is great. What's more, is the professor will get on your ass and make sure you're going out and socializing with other students if possible. There's about 200 active students in the forum, so it's still small enough that everyone's needs can get met.

5. Attitude. I don't know how to explain the attitude of the place, but it's unlike anything else I've encountered. It's like the jump of clarity from one of those needy pickup forums to this place, but about 10 times as pronounced. You'd just have to be in there to understand it...



I highly suggest that anyone who wants to make the jump from groping around in the social fog, to learning a few 'tricks' to make things work(pickup) to actually reaching a rock-hard foundation of social understanding go check it out.

But trust me... this PDF is not what you want... it's what you need. Vegetables are never as sweet as candy, but in the long run are so much more worth it.
