when we talk about nerds are we meaning those Spock-type logical thinkers who tend to over-think and over-analyze things and have a tendancy to take what is said too literally or just guys with a lack of confidence? or aspects of both maybe?

personally I can relate to this and I feel that the PUA industry exists to feed this type of mindset. sort of like giving free alcohol to an alcoholic whilst telling him that they are helping to improve his life!

I feel lucky to have found this forum as the guys here have a way of cutting through all the bollocks being peddled in some other places. to any 'nerds' reading this, what you get on this forum may not be what you want to hear, but thats what is good about it. so I say forget the crap and the PUA lingo you may have previously been exposed to and open your mind to what the guys on here have to say
