Positive presumptions are great to start a convo.
If you see a girl anywhere reading a book:
"Excuse me I am wondering if you could help me (women are nurturing and love to help), you look like a well read person (positve presumption), can you recommend me any books to read? Every book I pick up at the moment I put down after two chapters"

Start a conversation from there then lead with other questions. Its indirect but it
always works. Try it.
