Just say 'hello' to ANY nearby mixed group, tell them that you are waiting for your mates or that your mates (that were supposed to be here) are at another club half way across town that happens to have the same name as the place you are in (what are the chances!) or any other bullshit story...
And then just boom move on...Find out how they know each other, chat shit, tell stories, high five the girls, have fun with it. Then don't out stay your welcome and fuck off to another group.
BINGO...you are not alone... If they turn out to be cunts or are all in couples/don't speak english or whatever. Just rinse and repeat. In fact rinse and repeat anyway. Don't depend on any one group, introduce them to each other, then leave and open another group.
In about 15/20 mins you'll be the guy that knows everyone and no one will know you turned up with no mates anyway...
