you could tell them you don't like cheating or breaking up relationships, but she should give you a call if she finds herself single again

if she responds within a month or two, probably avoid her like the plague... but if six months, year or two years she contacts you out of the blue... you might have something there, if you're still really into her (and then clearly she was always into you).
