Pot is legal in Holland as is prostitution and they take a far more liberal view to sex shops and sexual education leading to lower STis and teenage pregnancy rates plus they have less drug issues (as they can be monitored and taxed (paying for enforcement)

The alcohol supply needed by the usa increased during the prohibition. People drank more.
humans have a need for that which they cant have.
our country has bad problems
drug, drink & under-age pregnancies because we stick by morals that where set 100's of years ago. And it isn't very British to change it.
