Awesome! Glad to hear others are doing this. Fantastic for self improvment. Really pushes me out of comfort zone, gets me fit and hopefully will make me more self assured.

The sparring is only on your knees as it is a groundwork lesson. Still pretty rough though and didn't seem to stop some fucker standing up with me and dropping me on my head! My first week, held my own ok. This time however, I was exhausted and got absolutely caned on my 2nd and 3rd one by guys far bigger than me (I'm not small either!).

Also found in 1st week I could often get in dominant position, but couldn't finish them off as my technique is bad. Conditioning and technique, I am told, are the 2 most important factors.

Standing work tomorrow. I imagine this will be a lot of striking.

Who do people like watching to learn? Royce Gracey is an obvious choice I think.
