Mate SSRIs are bad news, I used to be on Fluoxetine, I'm not going into the reasons for taking myself off it, but I did actively look into the whole SSRI effect and it scared the shit out of me. I have serious reservations about the long term effect on brain chemistry.
It's your choice at the end of the day, my best mate has just gone onto Citalopram, he made the choice despite the evidence I presented him with, same with everyone. I will never touch them again though.
