I've always closed down open relationships when they start talking about love. Even though I may love them too, I won't be giving them what they need but will be an all-consuming and, therefore, damaging addiction for them. I stop being like MDMA to them and start being like heroin to them. I like being someone's MDMA hit, I don't like being someone's heroin addiction.
