Best way to lessen DOMS? Squat more. I squat 2-3 times a week. The less frequently you perform the exercise, the more estranged your muscles will be with it, and you will get horrible DOMS.

You know it is bad when you can't physically sit down on the toilet and you walk with a John Wayne swagger.
