With dating sites I've noticed that the lower the "barrier to entry" the lower the quality of women and the more competition there is for the decent ones i.e. on the sites where everyone has to pay to communicate the quality is higher (and competition lower). I've found match and dating direct to be much better than the likes of POF and badoo. Basically on any site where its free for full membership for men is a complete waste of time as your competing for the attention of the few decent birds with a million time wasters.
