There is something affecting about this.

On the one hand I completely agree with K intellectually that if they want the child but the guy doesn't, then no legal responsibility should exist. On the other hand, emotionally I find this conversation disturbing.

It's as though I've had so much "be chivalrous and nice to women" drummed into me that I perpetuate the feeling in society that women have cornered the market in ethical goodness, when logically I can see the double standard.

I don't like what this implies about how deep this shit goes.
