Your position is different to Refl3x's though, Jay. Refl3x said he basically will hit any one who hits him. You are saying that if you need to defend yourself, you will. These are different positions, hence initial your response - you can't now flip it.
Plus, consider more than one post at a time and you will find yourself judging it the same way.

I defended Refl3x because I don't think he has "issues", I just disagree with him.
The addition I made about defending oneself "in the event of" was simply a further clarification of my original post on the matter, not a flip of what Refl3x said, I still disagree with his post but not with the concept all circumstances. I know my position is still different to his.
