I once met a guy in the community around your age who went on one of those bootcamps you mentioned. Even after he still had crippling Approach Anxiety he still could not do it, he said he didnt learn anything and the instructors he had didn't really take any interest or engage well with the students, he said for him it was £1,500 not well spent.

Although you may have a completely different and worthwile experience from it. To be honest you don't really need boot-camps if you hang out with community guys that know their shit well enough you can learn from them.
