Man I was just thinking about posting up my own story which relates to yours.

Couple of months ago I met a girl off plenty of fish. Over the course of 4 dates, we got along brilliantly, made each other laugh all the time, went on cool dates, slept together - the whole shabang.

I wasn't looking for anything realtionship-wise, but couldn't help picturing a bit of a future with her just because it all seemed so right.

Anyway, after not seeing each other for a few weeks, she texts me to say she's sorry, she's met someone else, doesn't want to see me etc.

I was fucking GUTTED. Couldn't see the logic at all - i was totally convinced we were a perfect pair. Properly twisted myself up over it for nearly a month.

The best thing I did? Delete her number and texts off my phone.

Holding on to them is just holding on to the idea that she might come back to you. That's weak, and probably part of the trait in you that puts a girl off in the first place.

Forget about it. Like Phil said - Ctrl-Alt-Delete and start afresh.

There are other girls out there that are
A: Better looking
B: Better in bed
C: Funnier
D: More compatible with you

One-itis ocurrs I think because you feel like there won't be anyone to compare to the last one. Funny thing is, they're often better.
