What a powerful post that was Rood. I used to get oneitis like this with girl after girl before discovering the world of pickup. I spent far too much of my past concerning myself over an individual girl who I would think of as 'my perfect girl'. Of course I assumed becoming friends with the girl and them discovering I was a nice guy was enough for them to fall into my arms and it to suddenly turn sexual. So glad I discovered the community of else I'd still be putting myself in this situation.
