IMPE and from the many threads I've read, you should always befriend the cock blocks, I wouldn't have Negged her. She sounds like she was a real stuck up over protective type, so the fact that you've got the number (Nice one by the way) may not count for anything if you've pissed off the cockblock with a neg, she may have been in your targets ear straight after saying negative things about you because of it, which may lead to a flake on your day 2.
