Been there and got the t-shirt my friend. I went on a period of going out EVERY weekend fri and Saturday nights for about 4 months, i saw lots of good improvments and got as far as getting a number close, and then it just plateaued and every night was the same, lots of approaches but couldn't get past the barrier, i got down about it, frustrated etc. So i took a break, didn't go out for a couple of weeks and when i came out again, was full of energy again.

It's only natural that you will go through this, as you get this with any learning process. The 2nd break I've had over xmas (not by choice), and discovered a new center in myself without actually doing anything. I'm looking forward to this year and hopefully i'll be at a stage where you are in the not to distant future.
