During undergrad psychology you touch on WW2 a few times when you're learning about how the term authoritarianism came to be, but they barely even scratch the surface at all. You know nothing until you start to study it for yourself.

Totally relate to you on how it makes you feel when you uncover the severity of the terrible things that happened. I found myself continually tearful and emotional after hearing true accounts from Auschwitz survivors. So much so that after like a month or 2 of being engrossed in it I had to take a break.

I'm ready to study it some more now though. I know there's still a lot more extremely dark stuff I've not uncovered yet and it'll probably hurt to find out, but I feel like I'm already in deep, so I want to continue.
