There's a brand new energy company coming to Ireland. Effectively, a competitor of my current company. A member of their in-house talent acquisition reached out to me on LinkedIn and asked me if I'd be interested in discussing a move to them.

They're building their very first front office team based in Belfast and require experienced advisors, team leads and trainers. I told her I'd be interested in hearing more about it and we have a call scheduled for 1pm tomorrow.

Having been involved with the energy industry for the best part of 5 years I'd say I'm in a pretty strong position as a potential candidate.

I don't have any expectations other than to just go with the flow on the call and see how the conversation develops. I don't necessarily need to be ready with a whole list of questions other than the basics. They need me more than I need them, so it's up to them to seduce me.
