Sorry dude, but you don't need other people's help to look bad. Catboy or you reactions to him hadn't even come into it in my mind.
In my opinion, the cowardly thing to do is instead of trying to deal with him publicly through words like a civilized person you threatened him with violence a few days ago where no one else could see.
