I think that the words we choose play a role in shaping how we think. Using
pua terminology like game, hb, set, close and so on effects how one thinks. Case in point.. People end up saying things like "I know better than to game when I'm out with non
pua friends". Yes, it might not go well to game with a non
pua. But if you just think of it as chatting to girls and of your friend as himself (let's call him Dave), then you'd maybe think something more like "Dave is a nuisance when I chat to girls".
With the first you are making a general rule and restricting yourself a lot.
In the second there's just one person with a specific behaviour that you can address.
