Usually I just go to bars and pubs with my friends, but last night we went to a club for the first time in years. We don't tend to go anymore since we got past our mid 20's

The night started in a bar and my friend left me for a second to go to the bathroom and there were 2 pretty girls sitting down next to me. He asked them if he could leave his drink on their table and they said yes. Then I was on my own with them and I froze!

My AA comes and goes, but I just stood by them and couldn't think of anything to say (mind went completely blank) and it got a bit awkward because I was just standing near them. My friend came back soon after and we went outside. I wish I had have spoke to them and just asked them what their plans were for the evening or something. I felt like such a dick head.

I felt bad about what had just happened and told myself that I had to make an approach.

I saw a girl glued to her phone so I leaned over to her and smiled and said ''there's no pokemons in here, i'm afraid''

She said, ''i'm not looking for pokemons''

I said ''what are you up too?''

And she said ''Texting someone. I've got a boyfriend, if you're trying to chat me up''

I can't remember what I said after, but she was extremely 'offish' with me, and I left her alone soon after.

Then my friend who was out with his work colleagues introduced me to 2 girls he works with, and I kind of 'came alive' and was bantering with one of them, making her laugh and stuff, although she seemed more interested in my very good looking friend who had now joined us.

Then we went clubbing and hit the dance floor. I was dancing with my good looking friend, and girls kept coming over to us and touching him and flirting with him. He just played it cool as he's got a girlfriend and doesn't want to cheat on her.

I tried like an RSD 'hand of god' thing a few times on the friends of the girls who was flirting with my friend, but they didn't bite.

Feeling low now i went back to the bar and wanted to open 2 girls who were sitting down, but my confidence had evaporated. I forced myself and smiled and sad ''Hey, girls''. One of them blanked me, and the other only looked at me and just kind of half smiled then looked away. I asked them how their night was going and she said ''not bad'' as she and he friend got up and started to walk away. Obviously didn't want to talk to me and I felt too low at this point to chase her around and try to get a conversation going.

I went back on the dance floor, and the 2 girls (friend work colleagues) were both flirting with my good looking mate. I joined them and we were dancing with one each. My friend told me that were were gonna go to the girls house and I though for a second my luck could be in. But then, soon after, they both dissappeared! It was getting fairly late now and me and my mate left.

He went to get a pizza, and I decided to go for a wander and clear my head because i was frustrated.

there was a really hot girl hanging around outside the cab rank and she was barefoot, holding her shoes in her hands.

I over-heard a few guys talking about her, telling each other what they'd like to do to her, but none of them went to try their luck with her. I couldn't think of any good openers (should have been able to think of one regarding her lack of shoes, but mind went blank) so I just said 'hi, what's up'. She was actually reasonably friendly and she just mentioned where she'd been that night. Told me she was off to her her boyfriends house, and then her cab turned up a few seconds later.

As i was walking to get my own cab, I saw a girl pulling her underwear up on a park bench! Not sure if she was peeing or taking pics of her pussy or what. I wish I had have went to investigate but felt way too down at this point.

Got cab, went home
