One thing that annoys & puzzles me about the 'Pickup Artist' scene is that some PUAs explain how to overcome or undermine any boyfriend that might be in the way. It annoys me because it's being disrespectful to another human being & creates very bad karma. It also puzzles me why any 'successful' PUA or man, correction, WEAK man, would have to stoop to that level just to get a girl? If you profess to be so successful, why would you bother with trying to win over another man's girl? In my eyes, that's being a failure.

Anyway, I was drinking in my local one evening with my girlfriend Carol, when this tall blonde with a beautiful smile suddenly walks up to me & tells me that she thought I had warm friendly eyes & said she would like to introduce herself to me. I looked at her then I looked at Carol then Carol looked at her, then I said, "That's fine, sit down”. She was called Kate. We started chatting & I found her easy to get along with. Oh, a decent human being.

She was engaged to a guy called Chris who she introduced me to that evening. He said a quick "Hi" though spent his time drinking with his friends. She told me she did modeling & had recently come second in a Miss Lincolnshire contest. She told me that she had met Chris as he was a photographer for the local newspaper & had been taking pictures at another contest.

Over the next few months I got to know Kate well. Carol & I parted around this time. Kate & I got along & enjoyed each others company so for several months her boyfriend would drive round to my place once each week to bring Kate to me then pick her up several hours later. I was respectful to her & Chris as he trusted me & was cool.
