Yo-yo-yO!

Disclaimer: THIS IS A THEORY THREAD

That's right. The purpose of this thread is to reflect on what I could of did. The way it works is, whatever I post is based on a real life failure. So it's not just pure "Theory Keyboard Jockeying". There is action behind the theory. The topic I'm discussing in theory, is the topic I failed at.

My goal is to reinforce ideas on what I could do & improve in that direction. Hopefully this could help some of you as well. One benefit is, I'd be bringing ideas from various PUAs to you in one thread, saving you some time from researching everything on your own.

Let's dive into it!

Overcoming Approach Anxiety Options

1. 3-Sec Rule/Jump In/Sink Or Swim

2. Progressive Desensitization/Start Easy, Hit The Goal, Make It A Little Harder Each Time

3. Mindset Shift/Eliminate Choice/You Just Open, No Questions Asked/It's A Moral Standard

How To Approach

POSITIONING
1. Proximity, Just Turn Head & Open

2. Manipulate Proximity, Walk Slowly & Comfortably, Position Yourself Near The Set
- Curve Near Them & Away In A Circular Fashion
- Naturally Turn Your Head To Look At Them, & Open

DEMEANOR
1. Calibrate Energy Level Based On Energy Of The Set, Slightly Higher Energy, Not Too Much Higher To Spook The Set, Definitely Not Lower Where You Are Leeching Value

2. Disarm Them With A FTC & Body Rocking

3. Stimulate By Adding Value, Being Warm, & Friendly

4. Face The Set When They Hook & Show Interest, Otherwise Talk Over The Shoulder

5. Stack Forward, Don't Get Stuck On The Opener

So what is the context in real life for the stuff you just posted?

You're right, it will probably be a better thread if I give some real life context. I'll do that moving forward.

In a nutshell, as far as last night is concerned. I let Approach Anxiety get the best of me. I kept worrying about my body positioning, feeling uncomfortable to approach, & trying to avoid awkwardness/rejection.

The theory I posted here is for me to use as reference to overcome this sticking point.

So had you already heard the stuff above before posting, or no?

Yea, I've also gone through periods of being an approach machine, but it was bad game, because I'd be obviously running around hitting on the girls, which is obvious to everyone around. The difference now is I'm going out solo & I'm uncomfortable about it, & I want to be more social & do mixes sets.

I deal with social anxiety in general, just in my day to day interactions.
