Just cos I shared a twin room with my colleague that one night and wore jeans, jumper and a baseball cap, whilst walking down the street chatting to him, everyone jumps to conclusions.

Had a look at the website...seems very interesting. Where can I get hold of a copy?

I actually think its better to read Eckhart Tolles books rather than watch the blueprint, dont get me wrong blueprint is awesome but i just read Eckhart tolles ' power of now ' and ' a new earth' clears up alot of stuff Tyler dosent go into and goes deeper and i personally got more out of his books. Infact everything Tyler preaches in the blueprint is nicked off Eckhart Tolle and Ayn Rand.

Did anyone else get really really annoyed that he "sighs" all the way through before he explains something? Like it's such a burden explaining his wisdom to the masses? It's distracting me so much I'm having trouble focusing on his message.

I've almost finished the CD version - I think I need to re-read it and make notes. There is a lot of info in there but also a lot of filler. I think the product could be shortened considerably.

Anyone got a Link to download the video version or got it on a cd i can get hold of?

Breaker 08-02-2011 05:42 PM

If you torrent you find it on pirate bay quite easily. Be warned it's like 4 days long. Without a doubt the best PU material I've come across though. Had about 5 epiphanies throughout it and pretty much sorted my inner game completely. Even if your not into pickup the stuff about how human interaction works is pretty mind blowing.

Ive already checked Pirates bay-- the dvd is only one once and the download fails

The Blueprint is my bible. I listen to it on my ipod when I go running, so I can kill two birds with one stone and when the endorphins kick in I'm super concentrated.

Breaker 09-02-2011 01:29 PM

I think that happened to me actually, try isohunt. There's definitely one out there.

Refl3x 09-02-2011 02:29 PM

aha isohunt, its downloding, thanks

Maxemillion 18-02-2011 05:38 AM

torrenting it now. rsd owe me 75dollars from the freetour anyway, which i doubt theyll pay back (cheque in the post apparently), so i dont even feel bad. Excited to spend the day listening to it, RSD rock

Maxemillion 19-02-2011 06:48 AM

Been on it since half six yesterday morning, just past halfway. Its awesome, i'm in such a cool upbeat mood thismorning. *Sigh* Its just so frikkin awesome, nah it actually is. I should have ripped this off the net months ago.

Rabbid 23-02-2011 02:21 PM

I started watching it monday night, been doing 2 hours a day so gonna start hours 5&6 tonight. Pretty good stuff to be honest, though I think it might need multiple views to cram it all in perminently.

Midas touch 23-02-2011 09:44 PM

I also have it on my ipod. I listen to it when I go running.

chillem 15-03-2011 05:02 PM

just got to the end of day 2
To me, day 1 was very profound, but most of day 2 went over my head, but i remember tyler saying at the start that this is what could happen as its meant to work on different levels and abilities from noob up to advanced

I'll put my thoughts on it up here when I have watched day 3 & 4, although I have a feeling it will require multiple viewings to get the most from it

Midas touch 21-03-2011 08:09 PM

I think RSD just tells you how you should feel, which is a great start. It doesn't really tell you "how" to feel that way though. Emotions can be hard to control at times. Indeed it might take a lot of work for some.

People's brains can actually be wired to react in a certain way. They keep saying "be unaffected" but this is tricky to say the least if you actually are affected.

Apparently, the neural pathways can be changed though with a program of meditation. That's what I'm at these days and it definitely has a relaxing effect and makes one less reactive when women piss you off.

chillem 24-03-2011 04:51 PM

OK, so two days ago I finally got to the end of the blueprint decoded. 20 hours or so out of my life and I have got to say it was well worth the watch.

The main thing I took from it was how the average chump tends to get his state from external influences and then when I thought about this I realised that this is probably what I have been doing all my life thus far. e.g. getting annoyed or anxious when something outside of my control happens even when it didn't affect me directly, I would still let it get my state down. But, now I can see that if that thing was going to happen anyway, why on earth should it affect me!!

Since watching this I have been noticing how this happens in other people too - women especially so.

I'm sure I got a lot more from it as well, but at the moment its just that I cannot seem to express it all in words. I know its all in there (pointing to my head!) and in just the last couple of days I have really noticed a change in my behaviour, my demeanour, my comportment, my confidence and the way I carry myself for want of a better word.

Midas touch 26-03-2011 06:37 PM

Knowing all this is not enough. There need to be neurological changes in your brain for you to adopt this new behaviour with any consistency. Otherwise, it will work for a while and then you will tend to react in the way you did before when things don't go according to plan.

For RSD to be of any real use you need to do some deep work on yourself, which could involve meditation, NLP, CBT, or in some cases counseling. There is no way on earth that you can completely transform your personality and emotions to this extent just by watching a video of Tyler Durden telling you how to feel. When the shit hits the fan, emotions are just not that easy to control.

Midas touch 26-03-2011 09:01 PM

Basically, Tyler is describing how it feels to be emotionally intelligent. Just listening to this does not make you emotionally intelligent, in the same the way that reading a book about Einstein does not make you a physics genius. It's just not that simple.

Quite right.

For me personally it was as simple as someone showing me the bottom rung of a ladder and saying "here you go, step on, the rest is up to you".

Am I on the right ladder? Who knows, but before I didn't even have a ladder, so couldn't even begin to climb

Well, a week or so after I shagged that American bird, the Austrian chick decided that she wanted me back. She was very keen, so I decided to give it another go.

Then, of course, it all went to shit and we broke up again. After that, I was feeling too depressed to write about women, plus I've been working loads.

I'm back now though.

Darood 28-03-2011 08:45 PM

Now I've found a decent torrent client for Android im going to have to give this another watch.

Guest 28-03-2011 09:52 PM

Is this expensive to actually buy legitimately?

Everyone seems to be torrenting it..

Okay, the main thing lacking from The Blueprint, in my opinion, is that it does not delve deep enough into how to get yourself into state and how to be non-reactive. Tyler just seems to tell you that that's what you should be like. Well Jeez, we already knew that deep down, it's kind of common sense really.

If you read the book Emotional Intelligence and do any research on neurology you will find that our brains are wired to react in a certain way, when we are stressed.

If this is the case then The Blueprint is just a temporary placebo, the same as much other PUA material. It's easy to be chilled and non reactive when there are no problems but as soon as things start to get difficult again you will find yourself losing your cool and going back to your old ways. Just shouting, "Be happy!" will not get you out of this rut.

People with high levels of emotional intelligence are simply able to react better. Part of this is probably genetic, in the same way that IQ is, but it is also believed that the experiences we have as children set our neural pathways. Some people believe that this is for life and we can do fuck all about it.

My view is that it is not quite as bad as that. There are things you can do to improve your IQ and your chess rating, so why not your emotional intelligence too?

I've thought about this a lot since I've been away from the forum and I now think that mastery of the emotions is the key to success with women, ESPECIALLY in relationships, as this is where I have fucked up in the past; losing my temper with women when they are being bitches etc.

Okay, I can't take ownership for everything that goes wrong, but if at least one of us had been in control of our emotions at all times then it would have had a much better chance of working out.

And as it happens, the onus is on men to have mastery of the emotions not women. It's perfectlly fine for a woman to have little control over her emotions, as is often the case; men will still be attracted to her, but for a man it's a different story; it's fucking crucial!

Unless you are already incredibly gifted with emotional intelligence you won't get much out of The Blueprint for long.... that is unless you take DAILY action to increase the mastery of your emotions. I am doing this through meditation (15minutes twice a day) which is said to work wonders. Here is a really great link on the matter:

Nine Ways That a Meditating Brain Creates Better Relationships | Psychology Today

and another two:

Using Meditation to Control Emotions

The Personality Benefits You Can Gain From Meditation

It is also believed that NLP and CBT, if practiced enough, can eventually change the neural pathways in the brain so that learned behaviour becomes automatic. This is crucial!

Often when we are angry or upset we will respond automatically and very quickly. Once the emotions take control, Tyler Durden's little voice telling you to be "Non outcome dependent and non reactive" will be drowned right out.

Meditation allows you to stop and think before you react and then to respond in a non-emotion driven way. And these are just the short term benefits. As far as the rest are concerned... I'll tell you when I get there.

I haven't checked this out fully yet, but there is actually a Zen Buddhist PUA method:

What are the Benefits of Zazen and Meditation? | PUA Method Blog

Actually, my dad is a buddhist and he currently has a girlfriend who is 20 years younger than him; she is two years older than me.

Second time around and its amazing me how much I missed first time watching this ages ago.

SmileyK 11-04-2011 07:56 PM

Having just finished watching the whole thing, I had several 'epiphanies' as Tyler would call it.

There is so much detail covered that it would probably require a second viewing for it all to sink in properly. What I like about The Blueprint is that is does exactly that - it kinda gives you a base from which to develop your own technique based around the idea of core confidence.

The key action now (and the hard part) is internalising these behaviours, which I'm finding a little difficult at present. Hopefully this will become more natural with time and practice.

Midas touch 11-04-2011 09:01 PM

Put it on you ipod and listen to it when you go running or whatever. Then combine it with daily meditation so as to really work on yourself from within.

Phil 11-04-2011 09:34 PM

Theres a bit in it where Tyler describes this stuff when talking to someone who gets it as if you went up to them and told them its possible to drink water.

It's about 20 hours and after listening to it all I found myself thinking I wouldn't mind listening to this again.

Maxemillion 11-04-2011 11:47 PM

I listen to it in bits every time I leave the house alone. It always gets me into a good mood, one of the best things I've ever heard.
