You're lucky to only get them from an ex :P Though funnily enough it's mainly guys who are flaming by the looks of it.

By the way when I approached a woman in Piccadilly several years ago she to me: "Are you that Tom Torrero?" So he is quite widely known. Or at least he was several years ago. He also published a book called Daygame, about his techniques and success which included a hundred field reports!

Yes! But by a middle aged woman who was probably told about him by a friend or read about him in a magazine article. It was in Piccadilly which is in the area where Tom used to do day game.

So if you were confused with Tom Torero, what does that suggest about your game style ?

It probably meant my day game style was a carbon copy of Tom Toreros'. Back then I adopted his style of daygame opening from someone who had been on Tom's bootcamp. He told me exactly what he was taught by Tom Torero and I copied that style for several months. Then later copied Andy Yoshas' style which is the side approach where he points backwards as he opens. My original style was to approach standing or seated women with situational openers.

You know that Tom Torero has been called out for hiring an actress on at least one of his approach clips, right?

Not saying that his stuff doesn't work, but how has copying opening styles worked for you (noting that the opener is the easy part)?

Back in April 2013 after copying his opening style for several weeks I got an email close and a day two with a woman I stopped on Oxford Street. And we continued to message each other for a few days afterwards but she seemed to lose interest in me. But that could have been because I was still homeless at the time. But for over three years now I have had a job and a home. The other PUAs back then used to tell me to that I would have far more success if I got rehoused. But up until I was 30 years old I had a home but virtually no success with women.
