I'd love to get this communities thoughts on this...

I don't want to admit it, but I'd agree with everything he's said.

My biggest issue that I'm still tying to get over right now is intimacy issues, although I don't like to admit it.

Over the last 6 months I've thrown away close to two dozen perfectly good initiations from girls simply because I'm unsure of myself, and have issues being close to people, half of which I would have slept with if I'd have started the conversations.

He's outlined a lot of what I think are my problems, and actually fit in really closely to what I think is my problem with how I grew up (computers and video games, web forums and unlimited supply of media [torrents] verses being close with other people in my life).

I'm actively trying to change the 5 things I think I'm hooked to unhealthy levels with ATM, and this gives me some hope that I'm not the only one out there feeling this generation is all fucked up from excessive media and advertising.
