The Yoga of it all -

As the Buddha said, “desire = suffering”
The root of all suffering is separation from that which you want. Yoga means union in Hindu. Yoga is the union between the subjective and objective.
The link between subjective and objective is quality / value. The same one object has different quality to different people and thus is subjective. The quality vanishes when the object is removed. Thus it is objective also.
Quality cannot be defined as it is the source of all things subjective and objective. Any description would always leave something out. It is experience before rational thought and semantic comprehension.
When you follow your own sense of quality and value and do so with care with what you do, you are being authentic.
To not care or to abandon your values in place of another’s kills your self esteem and gives rise to an imposter in your mind.
When we hold onto our desire with only hope, fear arises. Our worst fears lie in our anticipations.
When you accept not only that which is happening now but yourself can you see the beauty in the potential all around you. When you create beauty in the world, the world creates beauty in you. Art is always product of the subject, object quality and love.
Focusing on what you can control and ignoring (or at least not be concerned with) what you cannot grounds you in the present.
There can only care or love in the present as they are actions not emotions.
With knowing what you value and following that path with care and love you will be…
Authentic,
Grounded,
Driven,
And most importantly full of Love.
