Not the people in battle, I was talking about the innocents they killed in the holocaust.

Oh yeah. Thousands did die from lack of supplies towards the end of the war when the Germans were under supplied

Ah, a holocaust denier.

You're a rare breed.

You do know about the wooden doors?

Yeah, I've seen some stuff disputing how people could have been gassed when there were doors with cracks and/or space around the edges for gas to escape.

But I don't really think that's a valid argument. Now, I wasn't there to see it but I'd be willing to bet that, if there were wooden doors, well, cracks in the doors or not, if you pump enough chemical into that room, the occupants of that room are still going to die.

Just read my first Stephen King novel - Salems Lot

It was awesome. I wanted to read a vampire story, and this is the one I decided on.

One scene in particular that I found rather endearing was when a young vampire called Susan arrives at the bedroom window of a friend that managed to escape the clutches of the vampires, but she wasn't so lucky. She tells him it's not so bad being a vampire and asks him to let her in. When he refuses and tells her to go away, she tries to coax him further by saying she's hungry, pleading with him to let it be her that kills him and turns him from one of the living to one of the undead because sooner or later one of us will get you.

There was something about that scene that I found tragically alluring.

Looking forward to reading more Stephen King stuff.

Vampires suck.

The Shining is a great read.

They do indeed suck and they're also cool as fuck.

If I didn't already know you weren't a fan of Vampires, that would have been an "I see what you did there" moment but I do know you're not a fan.

Let me tell you why Vampires are cooler than Zombies (which I know you prefer).
  • Vampires have sex appeal. There is nothing sexy about a Zombie.
  • Vampires are presentable and fashionable. Zombies are physically repulsive.
  • Vampires are highly intelligent. Zombies are literally brain-dead.
  • Vampires are incredibly fast. Zombies can trail their feet at best.
  • Vampires can speak and have conversations. Zombies can say bleughhhhaaa.
  • Vampires' feeding habits aren't as gross as Zombies eating guts and intestines.
  • Vampires have standards and are selective about their prey. Zombies will go for anyone.
  • Vampires are clever and know how to evade enemies. Zombies will walk towards trouble.
  • Vampires are not nearly as easy to kill as a Zombie.

That doesn't mean I don't like Zombies, but they've got nothing on a Vampire.

Vampires is a female fantasy. Night Watch is pretty bad ass though.

Peace,
