3) Being a bit coy, elusive, and hard to get

This is something I have done a lot in the past, but the girl tells me she is frustrated about how elusive I am being, and then when I start opening up she loses interest.

After my latest experience, I am inclined to be even more closed off. The funny thing is that she was willing to go my bedroom when I was coy. The minute I started opening up, she lost all interest.

It's just the balance between showing interest, yet not being needy. Being too elusive might make her think you're not interested. Being too interested will probably scare her off.

This will affect your overall confidence/self image and everything else.

Being elusive is okay in the early stages, however once a girl has opened up you need to reciprocate too. She loses interest because you share personal stuff too early in the "relationship"
