Social Circles/Social Proof
 

(hope this is the right place for this as im new)

I recently moved back from university to my old home (away 6 years) as expected 90% of the people i knew have left/got married. So before i can get out sarging i need a new social group, as im way too anxious to try solo game. Im actually quite socially anxious in general, but a lot of this is due to the circles i was in, lack of going out, basically just not sacking up and dealing with it.

I have two choices.

Create my own new social group, which from my current available people will be made up of younger guys, none wealthy, none with any particular game, a couple being confident and attractive and a couple being kind of nerdy, with a few semi attractive girls in there but nothing special.

Or attempt to join a pre-existing one i have two gateways into via childhood friends who i havnt spoken to in a long time (both male). The entire group is male (size of group is about 5) atleast 2 or 3 of them are true naturals, exceptionally good shape, exceptionally confident, always on the pull, very well known around town. Seems great right? Not only are they "cool" but theyre always getting and introducing girls to the group! But my concern is this, I, Although being more attractive than average, pale in comparison to them. these guys are 9/10 guys (true 9/10) im probably 7.5 or 8/10, although improving due to losing weight and hitting the gym for that 6 pack dream.

Thoughts?

My advice is, you have more than two choices and you should read this forum more before you post.
