My body's reactions to dating

Hey guys,

I don't really know how to explain this but it's something I've experienced everytime I've been seeing someone.

I've dated 3 birds since the age of 19 (22 now) and during each of these times, my body reacts as if it is under alot of stress. I'll get up in the morning and have shallow breathing and feel nervous. I'll usually do some star jumps to get my blood flowing and breathing faster. Once I start my day, it usually gets better too.

As this is the same response as when I've been anxious about my relationships, the only thing I can think of is dating more people so every thing doesn't matter so much.

Meet and date more girls for sure. I used to get really fucking nervous and sweat buckets on a date. Once you get into the swing of it it becomes normal.

It's not the dates I'm worried about, sure I get a little nervous before a date, but it's nothing a phone call to a friend can't fix. It's waking up and feeling like shite which worries me

I know around 30 I used to have times when I would wake up massively stressed, clenched teeth, mind racing a thousand irrational, projected thoughts and shallow breathing. Especially after a night of drinking. It worried me enough to go to the library and seek out more information!
I had zero game back then, was reactive not proactive and knew nothing about self development.
I was clearly stressed, it was before I knew about taking control, gym, self development etc
You always strike me as very laid back about women, have you got other stress?
Are you using gym, cognitive techniques and have you got other stuff going on?
I have found the 'Alexander technique' to be an effective, immediate stress combatant too - worth googling.

I play American football for my uni and workout a bit too.
I have a dissitation I've barely started, maybe that's it. It just seems like everytime I have a female in my life, I start obsessing and overthinking making me nervous.

When I'm not on my own, it's different. It's like I'm back to my normal self

We tend to feel how we think. The book below should help you identify the causes of your anxiety and develop a strategy to deal with it effectively:

I don't know, I kind of miss that, the nervousness of it, would kind of be exhilarating, now its just like I go through the motions, or at least that how its felt the last few times.

The jaded, veteran Dice, looking back on better years before his world view was tinted by the game.
