Love this video, a really liberating mode to be in, surprised no one else has commented on it.

Interesting video.

I used to know a guy who did martial arts. He tried to explain to me this thing he had learned to do just before a bout when he was facing his opponent.

A few seconds before the referee called the start he said he reckoned his mind was completely still. No thoughts, just nothing. The idea is 'a still mind is a powerful mind' similar to mindfulness meditation.

There must be thoughts there (they're always there) but they are not interfering with the performance.

He said he used to practice it every day, anywhere, anytime, until he could do it whenever he wanted.

I suppose it is being 100% aware of the present. I've been practicing this rather than doing e.g. 20 mins meditation that I used to do. It seems easier to get it to work for a few seconds when you need it.
