Brian Rose as Mayor of London

No - I am not a spam bot lol. Just wondering if anyone has seen his campaign videos and promotions recently?

This guy was known for the London Real YouTube (or ex-YouTube more correctly) channel, and recently has been trying to sell a "business accelerator" program (though some clientele feedback puts it in a dubious light). Notably he hosted David Icke on his channel a number of times, who claimed that CoViD-19 was a disease engineered by a 1% cult whom wanted to cause a global economic crash to rise from.

Now, he wants to be mayor of London.

He does not get my vote, even though he's a great liar. Thoughts?

Anyone is better than Sadiq Khan.

How so? I don't know much about Sadiq (though I also don't live in London)

I know a lot about Brian Rose. He has some really good policies. He first emerged on the main scene about three years ago with his media company London Real which was praised by people like the EDL and Football Lad Alliance etc for giving them plenty of honest media coverage. That is how I first heard about him. He also covered pro Brexit demonstrations as well. And famously interviewed David Icke last year about his views on the pandemic. So most of his support comes from the new right and from Brexiteers. His background is as an American banker who moved to London in 2002 to work in the City of London. Then later set up his own media business a few years ago.

He didn't get that much support, with 31 000 (1%) votes of London.

Main thing I find hilarious is that he wanted to have David Icke as his "Chief scientific advisor" at one point. I also remember that his "digital freedom platform" which he touted wasn't very free - he often censored comments on his clips. He's had a bad rap for a business accelerator programme which he ran as well (and charged thousands for per person).

That is interesting. I thought he would do much better in the elections though due to the vast amount of advertising he has spent on his campaign. I think he would have done far better 20 years ago when he was a lot younger as he is too old now to appeal to most young voters.

By the way the only candidates to rival Sadique Khan was Shaun Bailey! He got 35 per cent to Khans' 40 per cent. I think he was the best candidate. All the other mayoral candidates did really badly. But there were far too many candidates this time I think.

What's wrong with Sadiq Khan?

Sadique Khan has failed to stop rises in fares on London transport. He has also refused to scrap the congestion zone or the ultra low emission zone. Which has affected huge numbers of businesses. He has also failed to reduce Londons' gang, drug, gun and knife crime problem! For example in 1991 New York Mayor Guillinio rapidly reduced the violent crime rate in that city within just a couple of years of taking office with his zero tolerance approach. New York which once had over 2,000 murders a year is now safer and cleaner than London!
