I am posting it for the interest of others and also to debunk the myth that young people were more peaceful in the past than they are now! I get sick of hearing that statement which has been around for decades now. For example during the August 2011 riots people were saying rubbish like "young people never used to riot like that many years ago". The link to the video of the 1981 riots disproves that myth.

And to prove my point even more, the most destructive riots in the history of Britain took place way back in 1780! See this: The Gordon Riots of 1780: London in Flames, a Nation in Ruins!

You are probably right. But the youth of yesterday were still incredibly bad at times.
