It all started with ordinary people of Syria protesting for greater democracy and an end to government corruption. It is such a shame that uprising was later hijacked by Islamic extremist groups. The same thing happened back in 1978 and 1979 when Islamic extremists hijacked the Iranian revolution which was originally a mass uprising against a brutal regime.

In Ireland, we live in a different world than 20 years ago.

And that world is a million times different for anyone from England.

I'm not saying bombing them is right or wrong, I don't know how I really feel about it. Given how much these extremists have grown I wonder if this willl ever be stopped in our life times.
