It's taken me a long time to finally write this.

Partly because I'm pretty new to the whole notion of an online community - I don't spend much time in front of a computer outside of work - but mostly due to denial.

I joined the forum a few months ago, after reading The Mystery Method and The Game, but never really got off the ground and seldom visited. It was only the threat of being deleted from the forum which jolted me back into existence; thanks Jaz for the much-needed kick up the arse ;-)

So why am I here? Mid 2007 my girlfriend and I split up, initiated by her; not only do I lose her, but my circle of friends begins to deteriorate...2008 I throw myself into my work, do well, but the rest of my life takes a back seat. I try to redress the balance, and, like the song by Peaches, Fuck the Pain Away. I nail whatever comes my way, including a LOT of call-girls. 2009 I realise that instead of finding the keys to my absolution, I appear to have a shovel which I'm digging a big fucking hole with; my view/understanding of women warped, damaged. With my 31st birthday about a week away, it's time to make amends. Year Zero.

OK rant nearly over! I don't know if people even read these Intro's, but thre it is, and here I am. I'm hoping to get to know people in the community very well; I'll be asking mostly questions, here to learn (this forum seems to have intelligent and erudite posts, as opposed to the drivel of fevered ego's or outright horse-shit). Also, I'm very keen to meet like-minded cool people, hit the town and learn in the field (will post separately for Wings), surely the best place to pick up this craft. Dare I say that I'm actually excited to finally make a start?

I'm based in Kentish Town, London. No idea how many members are based in London, going to put a request in for Wings; most seem to be in/around Manchester. Still, think I might be up for travelling up to meet a few people one weekend, get shown how it's done!
