The PUA scene here in Britain is quite large and quite active. Though not nearly as big as it was way back in 2005, 2006 and 2007 in the wake of the book The Game being published. I myself only came across the PUA community in mid 2007 after searching for books about picking up women from January 2007. Before that I did not know that the PUA scene existed. I started searching for books on pick up because I thought that I must be doing something wrong after approaching hundreds of women and not getting anywhere. So I thought to myself what am I doing wrong! There are quite a few books out there about how to pick up women that have been around for a very long time. The first one was called How to pick up girls, in 1970.
