Hello,

I am a retired PUA from Bucharest, Romania. I am currently 32 y/o and I work with different creative mediums such as music, photography, movement, calligraphy and writing.

I studied many pick-up techniques as a teenager and finally settled (after approaching about two thousand people) on something resembling the direct approach, eliciting my own personality, humour, beliefs, principles, creativity, playfulness etc without lying or imitating another style or technique. In time I attuned my preferences and became more and more selective, as my general taste in other aspects of life grew and matured.

I used this "method" to pursue people I fancied along the way, but when the time came (3.5 years ago) I met someone unbelievably perfect for me, with whom I totally let go of everything I learned and we decided we want to spend our lives together.

I said I am a retired PUA, that is not to say I don't still woo my partner every chance I get, but I am not active in PU, I don't have the desire to meet anyone else romantically.

The reason I joined this forum is that it's the only active forum I could find and I feel the need to share my wisdom (?) and mindset, I think some debunking of certain seduction terms and techniques is necessary for aspiring PUAs to find their own strengths and do their own thing with confidence and belief.

I didn't say that all other forums are dead; this is the only relatively active forum I found after searching for a few minutes

15 years ago there was a much livelier PU community around, even in my country, now it's all gone south

Nice post, Nothing. Question for you, while you were a PUA, did you have a consistent rotation of FWB? I'm interested to hear from people who are in LTRs that have experienced years of sexual freedom.

How hard have you been tempted to cheat? Do you ever miss casual sex or 3somes? Do you ever feel like she isnt the perfect woman for you?

During our relationship I have never been tempted to cheat, nor do I miss sex with other people. I can't disclose details of my sex life, but I will say that I am extremely satisfied, she is my everything and I feel I have matured during our relationship.

During some of our fights I sometimes have my doubts, I think they are created as a defence mechanism from my brain, but I am absolutely certain that she's the one for me, I could go at length about what makes her so special and so fascinating but I don't think that's your question

Why not? You're completely anonymous here. We have absolutely zero idea who you are. We know "Nothing" about you.

There's about a handful of people from the forum who actually know each other in varying capacities outside of this, but that's because we've been on here a long time.

It's about a million to one that you disclosing intimate details about your sex life will ever get back to you or your partner or anyone who knows either of you.

Not tempted to cheat in 3.5 years............. not putting yourself in those situations, or you're just into some freaky BDSM shit that makes most girls seem vanilla af to you?

I think fights leading to doubts isn't a self defence mechanism, more of logical reasoning
