I've been trying to become more aware of people around me, like how they act with body language and the things they say, after reading things about NLP really makes you see things more clearly.
I can make people do things using mirroring, but I am curious as to how I can use this for a benefit?

If you're wondering about the benefits then it sounds like you need to establish a desired outcome for the communication. What do you want and where do you want the communication to go? When you establish rapport with techniques such as mirroring you can then move the communication together towards your desired outcome (keep em to a chunk size that feels comfortable!)
