Rolling the dice...

Firstly let me apologise for the cliche nature of my screen name, I thought it would be funny and oddly apt. See a few months ago I moved from a small town in Wales to Manchester after becoming very much frustrated with day to day life.

This pretty much involved quitting my job, leaving my gf, ending my tenancy and moving to whatever city took my fancy, which turned out to be Manchester. Truth be told I'd never even heard of PUA's or PUA communities before a friend mentioned it too me last week.

I tend to be an all or nothing type of person, and whilst I'm not entirely uncomfortable with talking about myself I struggle quite a bit with conveying self worth to those around me, especially those I'm not so familiar with not even met!

So my point being, I'm throwing myself in the deep end, trying new things, boosting confidence, learning yadda yadda. But anyway, I look forward to chatting with you folks!

Yo dood. Sounds like you made a clean break for a brand new start in life (well, that's obvious)

I did the same six months ago moving to Belfast from a small shit town in Tyrone.

Welcome.

Cheers man, yeah I've only been here a couple of months now, so I'm really looking to get out there a bit, got to get past a bit of social inadequacy first though!

Hows life in Belfast? I've heard there's a bit of trouble going on at the moment?

I thought this would have some reference to the diceman by Luke Reinhardt. That is fucking killer book.

Nah I'm afraid not Darood, but I love the synopsis so got the book on my droid now!

Pick up can fry your brain once you discover it, it's info overload. Just take in some of the basic concepts of attraction & be naturally fun. Don't do the routines or any of that shit, it's all cheesy American rubbish, they are useful for virgins & guys who have never spoke to a girl before, but you obviously aren't in this category.

It's great. I only got my permanent address in the city center two months ago so I'm finally settled & content (for four months I was in & out of shitholes) & life's getting better & better, live the city buzz & I'll never go back.

As for the rioting etc, yeah it looks pretty mental on the telly - which admittedly it is mental - but that's only in certain areas, & when they are wrecking the place it does look bad, but it doesn't define Belfast as a whole. It will blow over soon hopefully.

Good to hear mate, I think its the same for most cities to be fair, I mean I've never really seen any trouble in Manchester while I've been there despite hearing all this crap in the news about stabbings, shootings and whatnot.

Welcome to the forums, I've also done the new city new life thing a couple times. Feel you learn a lot about life when you throw yourself out your bubble so kudos for taking the leap.
