I'm new here and fairly new to the scene. My main concern at the moment is that its becoming common knowledge what us guys are up to?
Given that most towns and cities in the UK arent that large and that lots of guys (and girls) have read The Game and similar books mightn't it get to a stage where women have heard and seen all the openers and lines so many times it becomes as bad as "do you come here often" For example i just looked over the posts from Manchester and most of you guys go to the same bars that any wouldbe PUA in Manc would go to (i visit there a lot to see a friend.) Has anyone ever been called out on this? Has a girl ever pointed out how someone just last week said the same thing? Even without using canned lines the basic premise is the same.

Canned lines are a great way to get the ball rolling. As you get into it you can perhaps make you own canned stuff or tweak other people's like I used to do.

Recently I've just been opening with 'Hi, you having a good night?' But then who's to say a girl hasn't heard that a thousand times. If you say any line in the world with enough conviction I'm sure she won't question you. She should play along if you play a good game. I've never had an issue to date canned or not canned.

Rood got busted the other week but not for his opener, just because he opened them the week before and they remembered him!
The guy opens so much, you've gotta respect that and it was pretty funny, we had a good laugh about it.
I've seen canned stuff get busted a few times and I've only been doing this since may.
If you have your inner game down you won't need openers, just be in the moment.

Thanks for the replies. It came into my head as im down in Manc in a few weeks did a search to see where people go. All the bars you guys hit are the bars that my mate takes me to i'm just wondering if there will ever get to a point where these places have been fished too much and the trouts (ha) start to get suspect.

On a side note I've never been into MM, dont mind Swinggcat or Juggler. David D is common sense fluffed out with too much pop psychology for me. Whos the best natural gamers i can check out? Any decent books? I need to expand my knowledge

I'd recommend Gamblers book 'Natural Seduction' and 'The way of the superior man' by David Deida to get your Inner game shit together.

The flawless natural Tim stuff was a revelation to me, people have been saying good stuff about RSD's the blueprint too but I haven't had chance to see it yet.

That's a good point Sam. If a girl realises you are hitting on her - which I'm sure more often than not she does if you walk up and talk to her - she could bring you up on anything you say as a potential pickup line. Either way i'd guess you should just shrug it off as normal behaviour for you. Why should there be any shame in doing so.

It's never happened to me, but if it did, I would probably just roll with it. Just hold your fram tight and continue with what you were saying... As long as you appear confident I think you could probably overcome this obstacle.
