girls who feel they need to learn something from every guy

Do you think in general, guys who do some kind of instruction, teaching, hobbies that require teaching (ski instructors, divers) have an automatic higher value level for girls? By giving instruction, you automatically come over as confident, being able to lead...

I've been out with some girls who I felt were always looking to learn something from the guy they were with but not in a mutual way, you know, like they were looking up too much or too impressionable to be worth it in the long run. Dunno , maybe this is just younger mid twenties girls who just have a different outlook. The older girls tend to know what they want more.

Girls tend to look for guys of higher value

Being a teacher or instructor automatically will give you a higher value as most people are used to the educational structure of teachers being an authoratative figure who is seen as being intelligent.

I think like you said older girls know what they want and are more realistic about their expectations.

That's just how I've found people and pickup around colleges and uni as a tutor

go learn to be an instructor in one of the (sporty) hobbies that you already know - be more successful in yourself, confidence, meet people, and more women.

and girls in their 20s are much more impressionable.

Yeah.
It's just a general convo on being higher value.
I thought I'd post something that didn't involve me going on about some girl's past for once.

I guess if girls are trying to get something from their guy for their own gain and this is a contributing factor to their being with him, it seems pretty mercenary to me and not something I would pander to by becoming someone with something coveted by such mercenary girls.

Happier without them, I think. Not the kind of person I would go out of my way to attract.

I don't necessarily think it's an intentional thing, but it can contribute to why the girl likes them or just that they have a lot of knowledge about their chosen hobby, skills, or whatever, contribute to their value. I mean, you don't need to be an instructor to have higher value, just being different, being independent is enough...just seems like an easy way to get better at something you like and build your value without trying much.
Personally, I find it far easier to meet a girl I like through situations like that, similar interests, than randoms in a club.

What are you talking about now you clown? ;)

Girls are ALWAYS trying to get 'something' from the guy they are with...(boiled down to it's evolutionary root) that 'something is his sperm.

They'd be a lot more choosy if the condom and other family planning methods hadn't been invented.

I didn't mean literally, those primal impulses are still there and still inform behaviour, they are hard wired.

It's pretty simple if you are able to teach a women something she wants to learn it raises your value in her eyes simply because you have something she wants.

If she wants to play piano (for example) and you can play/teach piano she clearly places value in the ability you have (and therefore by proxy in 'you') that puts you in the driving seat, in control, in command. You have some stock to bet and trade with that's all, you have a seat at the table. You exist.

In that same sentence, the very next words in fact, 'for their own gain and this is a contributing factor to their being with him' and then I go on to use the term mercenary to clarify my interpretation of the OP.

Yeh and I'm just saying there isn't any different. The only reason any women ever gives any man anything is ultimately... 'for her own gain' so suggesting that that's only the case in 'some' 'mercenary' instances is total utter BS...IMO of course :p
