I was just reading a book on spread betting and found this part applies to pick up.

It is an interesting psychological point that one can only have the requisite
confidence if the system has been fully internalised and tailored to the
individual. It has to be your system and it has to fit your personality and risk
profile.
But I hear some voices of dissent here.
Why can’t we just copy someone else’s system which has been proven to work?
At some stage, if you haven’t already, you will come across people offering to
sell that sort of thing to you. It might seem like a good short cut. Unfortunately,
most of these short cuts lead to dead ends. Usually, if the short cut seems too
good to be true, it is.
One highly successful US trader is said to have taught his system to a group of
up and coming traders. After a few months he checked to see how many of
them were following it. Not one! Every single one had taken the basic system
and adapted and modified it.

This is so right, thats the beauty of copying others, you will never copy it down to a tee! Meaning there is apdaptations.... kind of like evolution. Anyway good post

Not sure why anyone would want to imitate Phil, but mystery method got me telephone numbers lot of them in fact, I don't use it now, but I did when I first started and i have nothing to gain by saying it works, if it didn't I'd be the first to say it doesn't work.

Some systems generally work if adapted and not followed to the letter.

coz i know for a fact if u pitted me against him in a room where nobody knew us both, id amog the life out of him.... he could not out play me for a girl..

Right or Wrong, that self confidence is what will ultimately get Phil laid.
