Romantic dinners?

Hey guys, havent been on in ages. Been doing great though!

I would like you're opinion on something, I met up with my ex from a couple years ago, we k closed the two times we met. But she says it feels a bit weird for her. I know its because I haven't built up enough comfort yet. so she is coming down to mine tomorrow and I am intending on cooking her a nice romantic meal with some candles and nice music, the two of us can chat and build some comfort.

Anyway, do you guys have any words of wisdom on romantic meals for two?, I haven't really cooked a home made meal under these kind of circumstances before

Is it really to do with building comfort? I would imagine it is weird regardless as you're reigniting on old flame.

Anyway, cooking dinners are cool, not too sure about candles and all that caper. Sounds rather cheesy. Just rustle up some rather nice grub and see where the evening leads you.

Yeah thats the way I am going with it, I am toying with the idea of candles though

I think Nova's right on this 1 - nothing to do with PUA or building comfort, just weird being with an ex, but only if you let it be weird!

Tips for the meal however:
- Skip the candles - too cheesy, instead if you have a dimmer switch or some less harsh lighting like table/standing lamps elsewhere.
- Prepare everything before she arrives - spend your time with her not mixing and prepping stuff in the kitchen
- Have some music on in the background - something nice and easy that isn't overbearing, it creates a nice atmosphere and keeps off silences.
- Tidy up - lay the table, scrape you grundies off the floor etc.
