Ok so was out last night and some loud mouth ugly fat girl came up to me unanouced and said to me "did you just call me a slag, my friend said you called me a slag" (very agressively, pointing n shouting). Then before i know it her even fatter uglier friend came over being very agressive stating shes going to get all her tough man friends to beat me up. Not having come across anything like this before i just acted calm and smiled, saying sutff like "oh right". Anyway they fucked off in the end, i found it very hard to restrain myself from being agressive back to them. Bare in mind these girls were not teenagers they were at least 25 years old.

Later on in the night whilst i was dancing one of them came up behind me like twice rubbing there ugly fat arse into the back of mine, then would run away (i say run, but it was more of a woddle). Now i know what it must feel like for girls when big ugly men rub up to them on the dance floor... i feel so violated and at the same time helpless as its not like i can resort to violence to solve the situation. And trust me there was no speaking to these girls, best thing to do was to look away and ignore.

Anyway i was wondering if anyone has had any situation like this before as i still find it quite hard to believe this actually happend. And if you have what did you do?

best thing to do is ignore them or you can just take the piss out of them or you can leave.

I find it funny how peeps say hot girls are bitches but in my experience I get a lot of shit from ugly girls cock blocking and other situations.

I remember one good one to do is look at them pause then just turn your back to them.

as for the dancing thing don't really know what to do about that.

Yea this is spot on, i wasnt trying to bag her friend i was at the bar getting a drink! they came over to me! It was a difficult situation and i think i handled it ok, i couldnt say "oh no i didnt say anything" as clearly they were out to get a reaction.... i couldnt say "fuck off" as they would have started a big scene and given them the reaction they wanted... all i could do was be non reactive, and laugh it off.

Ah yes, but you don't have to make a person your enemy either. None reaction. They're only knowledgably acting that way because you have not earned their trust and are often ruining their night out with their friend. Acceptance is the middle ground.

2: if you talking to them ruins their night then you're either not interesting enough or they are cunts and no one wants to be their friend anyway.

3: what's with the ownership all this their. I don't own my friends so if other people want to talk to them and they don't mind neither do I.

as for their night out. if you don't want to be bothered by strangers have a private party. the whole purpose of a pub is that it is public.

Many people go out with the intention of enjoying themselves together with just their friends, girls especially. It's necessary to understand this sometimes.

The public argument is silly, if you go to a restaurant with a bunch of friends you will be taken aback if someone strolls on up and sits at your table and makes themselves a part of your night.

What's in your spectrum of a night out isn't necessarily what's in the spectrum of other people's. Perspective and personal view matters a great deal. If you're intruding that's not cool, if you're not intruding then that's ok.

When you look at it from that mindset they are merely defending against your intrusive behaviour and you are following up with a very rude personal attack.

One perspective is not the only perspective.

I heard in London the pubs are supposed to be really friendly where you're made welcome as soon as you enter.

It just depends man. We generally have a habit of believing that our own worldview is the only right worldview and everyone around us doing it differently must have something wrong with them. This actually isn't the case most of the time and it's only in the last year or so that I've started noticing this so it's kind of new to me too. When you start building these different perspectives you start seeing things entirely different opposed to a "something is clearly wrong with them" view.

It started with the realisation that women getting fucked is the same kind of compromising and vulnerable position that strikes fear into the hearts of millions of mildly homophobic men, which I mentioned here not long ago.

Seeing other perspectives properly, or at least seeing the potential that a situation is merely a different but perfectly acceptable perspective makes me think twice about right and wrongs in various situations. Not long ago I'd have been right behind the "tell her to fuck off" camp... It's situational and reacting that way is actually pretty dickish if she's coming from the intrusive mindset - even if her cute friend is accepting you. It was their night out until the intrusion.

If I was to do a mildy-less-sarcastic nightlife comparison of London v Cardiff, would SPECULATE that whilst both cities have some rough clubs full of loud-mouthed rough ugly birds, there is overall a more cosmopolitan, quality crowd in London than in Cardiff. Therefore, avoid Cardiff's roughest clubs and go to ones that charge a lot. The poor ugly loud-mouthed fatties will get weeded out as won't have the money to get in there. :)
