winging gets in the way?

So i find that when i go out i like to be the one to initiate the conversation with girls it looks better for me, i feel more in control, more of an alpha male and i dont like having to chime in and have to stand there whilst a friend talks for me..

if theres me and my friend standing for example and theres a two set close to us, i feel if we dont approach immediately, im pretty sure they have noticed us and as we talk to each other they are awating and anticipating our approach. This makes me feel quite self concious like it has to be really good and direct, if we walk over now and ask for an opinion its not goin to appear authentic and quite weak. So i normally jus talk myself out of it,

i was also in a situation the other night, we're there was a4 set and 4 of us, we got talking everything was going well, i was talking to this hb9, our converstation and interaction was begining to falter so i thought it best to get her number and leave, i.e " got to go get back to my friends, was fun meeting you put down your number and i'll give u a txt sometime maybe meet up again" but couldnt really do that with all my friends standing there, had NO idea at the time of what to do, i thought it was going to be super awkward if i got her number and just stood there afterwards...

basically i'm looking on advice of how to approach with wings, the best way to get numbers? any wing routines to get me going to i can be more natural at it.

trouble with wings is they are another uncontrolled variable. best wings are guys that know shit loads of girls so you can streamline their success.

small point about your use of language I avoid words like maybe. I'd say give me you number and we can meet up some time. As aposed to maybe we can meet up sometime.

depends on how you look at it. If you were to make an attempt with a wing nearby, at least if you get blown out you have someone to laugh it off with.. but if it's just you, you look at it more critically, which can throw your mood right off!

if your seriously going out to pick-up then you have to choose your wing carefully, i.e. if that's your aim for the evening. When I've had my sole goal on pulling for the evening, if my wing/friend isn't wanting it then I find they are counter-productive just because they dont engage conversation, they never open and why should they? I've also been out with the guys, where there were 4 of use and 3 guys were just full on AFC's add a girl and they just turned the situation creepy for everyone.

However when my best mate and best wing has been on the ball and into it as much as me, we have torn down the most impenetrable bitch shields, opened the impossible but mainly had shitloads of fun

This seems mainly in your head! If anything you can ask anything anytime like you just noticed them (direct) or it just cropped up in conversation (opinion/indirect). You need to relax a bit and realise that with social interactions it's about your body language and interest you create, not the order you do things! Sure sometimes your wing will open first, other times you will. Sometimes you just need a genuine opinion or photo taking! DONT OVER-THINK STUFF

That said find a wing who you can build a conncetion with, you know his style and type, he knows yours, it makes set selection a lot easier and it means you can work around him and support him! Plus trust him!
