Default jealousy - 03-06-2011, 05:31 PM

I don't normally suffer from jealousy but recently I've noticed myself feeling this way anyone got any ideas as to why.

Urban Dictionary: oneitis

Don’t think about rejection shouldn’t even enter your head, don’t think about it, just do it, no hesitations. Talk to her.

It’s the only way to get good

Wait! Are you jealous of these girls or jealous of their boyfriends shagging them? Oneitis isnt about jealousy.

Doesnt say jealousy in there whatsoever!

Harmless jealousy is a good thing. For me, it strives me to aim higher and be better. I am always jealous of guys who I go out with, and with them ending up kissing girls and going home with them. I think it is a healthy jealousy though. I am jealous of guys like Jaz but it never stops me from going out with him. Although he is younger than me, I look up to him and try to emulate him. Use the jealousy to your advantage like most things in life.

Sticking to the original question, not to get all Sperm Wars on you, but surely it's a biological drive to be pissed off that you might end up labouring to raise someone else's kid, would have though that must be the root of jealousy of this type.

Agreed, being envious of what's possible in people you admire is a good thing, being paranoid about losing something you might have is a completely different thing.

I used to be really jealous but then I realised that I was going out, chatting up several girls a night, sleeping with a few different girls. It was something I had to just "get over" - If I'm allowed to play the field and won't commit to a particular girl then I can't expect her to do the same.

That said if you are committed to a girl and still feel jealous a - remember you trust her and she isn't putting it a bout. If you can't trust her, bin her off and move on,
b - Talk to her about it if it's over a particular aspect e.g. dress, 1 guy, drunken behavior, etc. If she isn't receptive bin her off and move on.
c - There's not a lot you can do to stop it, so why worry, if she does just bin her off and move on.

Be desireless. Be awesome. Be gone
